Green Tick-it Eco Tourism – What a Wonderful World

James Porteous is a committed environmental communicator. As a former marine scientist-turned-journalist, he worked in London for the international research journal Nature for 5 years before returning to Melbourne in 2002, via lowland gorilla conservation work in Gabon, West Africa. Recently (2007) he worked in Sri Lanka for WWF US reporting on post-tsunami reconstruction initiatives. James works to the credo that all issues can be framed in a positive, motivating way – and that there are always solutions waiting.
