Our MC for the night is Simon Rogers, an ABC radio presenter, comedian and TV personality. He is Melbourne’s master of live comedy, a theatre sports legend and MC extraordinaire, having hosted over 3000 shows.
There will also be a guest appearance by Mbapani Ngitoria, a Masai warrior from Tanzania who will share his experiences of life as a member of Tanzania’s most colourful and traditional tribe, and Tracey Sawyer, founder of Testigo Africa, will present a short documentary of her personal journey with the Masai and the reasons she responded so passionately to their request for help to bring running water to Longido village.
PERFORMANCES BY:
Emma Leak from Cosmic Creations – the combination of great light workers, dancers, stilt walkers, performers and costume creators
Marilla Homes who performs as a professional opera singer, as well as a folk singer and fronts a band which dabbles in folk, blues, country, jazz and rock
Riley Jordan a singer-songwriter with the vocal warmth of Seal, the professional lyricism of Joni Mitchell and the raw emotion of John Lee Hooker
Tracey Roberts with smooth, warm and eloquent vocals, and a big voice ranging from full on blasts to delicate whispers
Mzuri Dance will be performing an energetic dance and drumming performance guaranteed to get more than your toes tapping!
Andrew Goodone hilarious comedian will help you laugh your way to making a difference
You’ll witness the premier of a film clip of a joint musical project using traditional Masai chants and the voice of Australian composer Riley Jordan, set to stunning visuals of tribal life.
